
Alivony RAVELOMANANTSOA
MSc in Hydrology and Climate Change
Alivony is an environmental scientist. She holds an MSc in Hydrology and Climate Change from Newcastle University (UK) and a DESS in Environmental Impact Studies from the University of Antananarivo. Currently a doctoral researcher at the Graduate School of Natural Resources Development, University of Antananarivo, her work focuses on green infrastructure and climate resilience, with a particular interest in air quality, public health, and adaptive capacity in Antananarivo. Beyond her research, Alivony leads the Antananarivo Cityzens Hub under the UrbanBetter science movement to advance sustainable climate resilience initiatives on urban environmental quality and public health, while mobilising young environmental leaders to advocate for healthier and more resilient cities.
