Cédric is a communications professional from Madagascar with experience across humanitarian action, international development, and environmental conservation. He was part of the 2022–2023 Chevening Scholarship cohort and completed an MA in Children, Youth and International Development at Brunel University London. His academic background strengthened his understanding of social inequalities, youth engagement, and community-centered approaches to development, while providing him with an international perspective on global challenges affecting vulnerable populations.

Professionally, Cédric worked in communications for Medair from 2019 to 2022, supporting humanitarian and public health initiatives through strategic communication and community engagement. Since returning to Madagascar after his studies in the UK, he has been working in communications within the marine conservation sector at Blue Ventures Madagascar , contributing to awareness and engagement efforts around environmental sustainability and coastal community development. His work is driven by a strong interest in using communication as a tool to connect people, amplify local voices, and support meaningful social and environmental impacts.
