Idriss Arielle Zafera holds an MSc in Sustainable Development from the University of Sussex, with research focused on energy access policy in developing countries.

A social sustainability specialist with over 13 years of experience across government, multilateral institutions, diplomatic missions, and private finance, she brings a grounded, cross-sector understanding of where meaningful change is possible and what it takes to deliver it. She has directed national programme operations, led multi-million-euro programme design processes, managed complex multi-stakeholder governance, and currently oversees ESG and impact portfolios across Southern-African countries.
