Manevasoa holds an MSc in Urban Planning from Newcastle University and a national Postgraduate Diploma in Environment and Sustainable Development. She currently serves at the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development as National Focal Point for the UN 10-Year Framework of Programmes on Sustainable Consumption and Production (10YFP) and as Technical Assistant to the Secretary General. With over seven years of experience in environmental policy development, she works to advance resource decoupling and circular solutions in Madagascar. Passionate about improving quality of life in urban areas, she sees the circular economy and its cross-sectoral nature as a key pathway toward more liveable and inclusive cities.
