MSc Ecological Economics

University of Edinburgh

Chevening 2018-2019

Combining a dual academic foundation with deep field experience, Narindra holds an MSc in Ecological Economics from the University of Edinburgh and an MSc in Macroeconomics and Public Policy from the Université Catholique de Madagascar. As an independant consultant, her main interests focus on the critical intersection of nature conservation, climate change adaptation and mitigation, as well as environmental valuation for human socioeconomic well-being.

Narindra’s professional trajectory includes impactful work with UNICEF Madagascar as a Research and Evaluation Specialist, followed by key leadership roles at Conservation International. Her work there involved directing an impact evaluation study to measure how a climate-focused project affect local households, as well as managing initiatives dedicated to Nature-based Solutions. These projects bridged the gap between sustainable development and biodiversity conservation, specifically exploring how local communities can implement these solutions to address climate challenges effectively.
