Nirina Lalaina Rakotomalala is an education expert from Madagascar with over 15 years’ experience designing, managing and evaluating sustainable education programmes. Following advanced study in development, forestry and environment and teacher training in natural sciences. Nirina’s work spans programme design, curriculum development, MEAL, digital learning resources development, school electrification, youth empowerment and environmental education. Nirina has collaborated with the Ministry of National Education, UNESCO/IIEP, the World Bank, Technopolis Group, Money for Madagascar, Save the Children International, WWF and other partners to strengthen education systems and improve learning outcomes. Passionate about equitable, transformative education, Nirina combines research, stakeholder engagement and practical implementation to help Malagasy learners, teachers and communities discover and manage their potential while contributing to poverty reduction and sustainable social change through inclusive, evidence-informed, locally grounded education initiatives across Madagascar.
