Santatra RAZAFINDRATSIMBA

Santatra Razafindratsimba is a Business Engagement and Sustainable Finance Specialist based in Antananarivo, Madagascar, with a career dedicated to advancing nature-positive investments and climate resilience. A Chevening Alumnus, Santatra holds an MBA in Sustainability from the University of Exeter Business School and an MSc in Marketing Management from Universitas Atma Jaya.

Specializing in blended finance and green growth, Santatra manages conservation finance and development initiatives, including the Dutch Fund for Climate and Development (DFCD) and the Marine and Community Resilience Fund, while providing support to other pioneering initiatives in sustainable finance. This work involves the design and implementation of blended finance mechanisms and originating investment pipelines that support biodiversity, agroforestry, and the blue economy in Madagascar and across the Southwest Indian Ocean.

Through strategic partnerships with the corporate and finance sectors, Santatra works to catalyze more finance for sustainable economic development and conservation. Leveraging professional proficiency in French, English, Malagasy, and Indonesian, Santatra facilitates high-level collaboration between international financial institutions and local markets to achieve long-term ecological and economic impact.
